Westgate is an unincorporated census-designated place in Palm Beach County, just west of the City of West Palm Beach. Formerly listed as Westgate-Belvedere Homes, it is one of the county's older platted residential areas, developed beginning in the 1920s as a western gateway into the city. The community sits near Okeechobee Boulevard, Belvedere Road, Military Trail and Florida Mango Road.
Housing is primarily single-family homes in established neighborhoods such as Belvedere Homes and Westgate Estates. Residents use Westgate Park and Recreation Center for local green space and programs, and the Westgate/Belvedere Homes Community Redevelopment Agency works on neighborhood improvements. Palm Beach International Airport, I-95 and downtown West Palm Beach are all close by.
