Medley is a town in northwest Miami-Dade County, about 12 miles northwest of downtown Miami. It is bordered by Hialeah Gardens to the north, Hialeah to the east and Doral to the south, with the Miami Canal forming its border with Hialeah and Hialeah Gardens. The town is named for Sylvester Medley, who settled and farmed the area beginning in 1905, and it was incorporated in 1949.

Medley's economy is built largely on industrial development, including warehouses, distribution facilities and manufacturing, which is why its residential population is small. Its residential area includes a limited mix of single-family homes, townhomes, apartments and manufactured homes. The town's location near the Florida Turnpike, the Palmetto Expressway and Miami International Airport makes it a hub for logistics and commerce.
