Hendricks and Venice Isles is a unique waterfront neighborhood in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas area. Composed primarily of Hendricks Isle and Isle of Venice, the community extends from Las Olas Boulevard along two narrow finger islands lined with canals, residences and private docks. Its location places residents between Downtown Fort Lauderdale, the Intracoastal Waterway and Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Unlike many of Fort Lauderdale’s predominantly single-family waterfront communities, Hendricks and Venice Isles offers a diverse mix of luxury condominiums, townhomes and select single-family residences. Boutique waterfront buildings and newer residential developments sit alongside established properties, creating a neighborhood with a distinctive urban-meets-waterfront character.

Boating is an important part of the neighborhood’s appeal. Many waterfront properties offer private dockage, while the surrounding canals provide convenient access to the Intracoastal Waterway and Fort Lauderdale’s extensive network of navigable waterways.

The neighborhood’s location is equally compelling. Las Olas Boulevard is immediately nearby, offering easy access to dining, shopping and entertainment, while Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale Beach and the Intracoastal are all within a short distance. This combination of waterfront access, proximity to Las Olas and a varied selection of luxury residences makes Hendricks and Venice Isles one of Fort Lauderdale’s most distinctive waterfront communities.
